- cream of mushroom soup - 10 3/4 ounces (1 can) Regular, 98% Fat Free or Healthy Request
- milk - 1/2 cup Whole, 2%, 1% Skim or Fat Free
- green beans - fresh cut green beans (preferred) for quick prep 2 (9 oz. each) pkgs. frozen cut green beans, thawed*
- French fried onion - 1 1/3 cups FRENCH'S® Original or Cheddar French Fried Onions
- onion - 1/2
- cheese - 1 cup
- bell pepper - 1/8 ground black pepper
- garlic powder - 1/4 cup
- chicken stock or vegetable stock - for boiling the freshly cut green beansslo
- butter - 1/2 stick

Instructions:
How To Green Bean Casserole Recipe Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Slowly melt the butter in a large skillet.
- Saute the onions and mushrooms in the butter.
- Boil green beans in chicken broth for 10 minutes and drain.
- Stir the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the green bean mixture is hot and bubbling.
- Stir the green bean casserole mixture.
- Sprinkle with the remaining french fried onions.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until the fried onions are golden brown.
